AD AGE COMPETITION, OCTOBER 2018
Design Thinking: Kia asked college students to create a print advertisement for the Stinger, a high-performance sedan that wanted to attract the excitement of a younger driver. During the ideation stage, I just couldn't get past the name and that cherry red finish. My 1960s Volkswagen-inspired design tries to connect a young viewer with the bee, magnetically attracted to the sweet nectar of a fruit. In that way, I wanted the consumer magnetically attracted to the sweet rush of a high-octane driving experience.
