PXL
MAGAZINE CONCEPT, SPRING 2018
Design Thinking: PXL is a conceptual vintage photography magazine positioned for trendy 18-30 year-old readers. I repurposed Chunka Mui's Forbe's article on the decline of Kodak to design a sample spread. To capture the attention of young, tasteful readers, the layouts were stripped down with a clean sans serif font that captures a contemporarily retro minimalism. Combining muted and dark tones with stark layouts and brand assets, the tragic corporate decline is unmistakably "Kodak."
