SEO + ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP, SUMMER 2019

During my summer as an Account Management Intern at CGI Communications, I and a team of interns were tasked with enhancing the SEO performance of CGI's more than 10 offices and divisions while also supporting the accounts department's client relationships. I was assigned the digital reputation management for CGI Communications' headquarters office and its advertising wing, Next! Ad Agency, in Rochester, N.Y. In order to elevate these offices' SEO performances, I worked directly with review campaigns, Google My Business management, brand consistency and creating new listings, such as drafting a Wikipedia page for CGI Communications.

INTERNET ECOSYSTEM ENHANCEMENTS

Google search rankings are aggregated, in part, by scanning the entire internet ecosystem for company listings with consistency and authority. Believe it or not, I figured out that Wikipedia articles have a ton of authority within Google's algorithm. So, I pitched a "CGI Communications" Wikipedia page. Although caught in the Wikipedia editing log-jam, here's what it would have looked like:
