MGM Resorts Announces "Teddy Roosevelt's 160th Birthday Bash" to Benefit the National Park Foundation

News Facts

• MGM Resorts International will host “Teddy Roosevelt’s 160th Birthday Bash” on February 12, 2019 at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino to support the National Park Foundation.

• This is a first-of-its-kind event for both MGM Resorts and the National Park Foundation.

• The Bellagio will get a fresh look for the evening with elegant birthday decorations for Teddy Roosevelt and artwork depicting America’s most cherished natural wonders.

• The event will kick off at 7:00 p.m. with a rendition of “Happy Birthday to You” by Willie Nelson. The Bellagio’s casino will close at 2:00 a.m., February 12, 2019, with doors reopening at 6:00 p.m.

• Special-edition, commemorative chips and cards, which feature Teddy Roosevelt and our national parks, will be used at the Bellagio tables.

• Commemorative chip and card sets will be available for purchase for $30. Proceeds from commemorative set and artwork sales will go to the National Park Foundation, which will also receive a portion of the night’s casino profits.

• No entry fee or registration is required; the event will be open to any adult over 21.
